L’Chaim (To Life)

Before time, before earth

The Creator, later a virgin birth.

The cornerstone, perfectly placed

The Lamb of God, the human race.

Intertwined, a love affair

One Holy, Divine, a righteous judge

The other in desperate need of His love.

Destiny, a preset course

The players, God, men, and the curse.

Truth that cuts

A sharpened sword

Piercing light

A white horse.

Grace given not deserved

Lies, deception, the picture blurred.

Family, happiness, the golden years

Divorce, abortion, no one cares.

Who can sort the madness?

Who can bring us peace?

Nightly news or

The Middle East?

Life and death, what does it mean?

Evolution tells us not a thing.

Justification for deeds unspoken

No moral authority

No laws broken.

God the Creator, His persistent love

Knows all things from above.

A book of life

Its pages open

A name written

The gate is open.

A soul accepted

The blood of Christ

Not a drop wasted

His sacrifice.

Run, rebel, fight the system

Submit, accept, a sign of wisdom.

Ponder the choice

What’s to lose?

Eternal life

Who is this Jew?
